কোভিড-১৯
EDCL is a medical service and 100% government-owned pharmaceutical manufacturing company under the control of the Department of Health Services under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. EDCL has worked tirelessly since its inception to combat Covid-19. When the entire country as well as the world was under lockdown due to the covid-19 pandemic, the employees of EDCL continued the production of medicines at the risk of their lives and supplied sufficient medicines to all types of hospitals including government hospitals, medical colleges, civil surgeon's offices, community clinics as per the requirement of the government. EDCL staff distributed various leaflets to create awareness about Covid-19. Also during covid-19 EDCL met the country's need of medicines and also provided free medicines to different countries.
